In this modern lifestyle, we all stuck in situations where we tend to lose hopes or get in dilemmas or surround ourselves with negativity which often leads to depression which is the major setback to anyone.

How to have Positivity in life?
It is easy to say to be positive, stay optimistic. But how can we imply positivity in our life? Let’s explore the ways through which we can remove negativity from our life and can bring light and positivity in life.
- Aura or your surroundings:
Positivity or negativity to an extent in your life depends on your aura or surrounding. The different people you meet, your social media interactions can also be responsible for negativity in life. Not everyone around is your well-wisher.
Take a thorough look at your social media and videos you are watching. Try to distinguish from where the negativity is coming to your life, it can be people or activities we are indulged in. Put a break on all the violent shows and stay away from the people who are spreading hatred.
Stay away from such people if not possible, don’t indulge with them in discussions or debates. It is only you who is responsible for bringing positive and peace in your surroundings. Take control of your life and make it positivity and lively.
Learn to handle criticism. Criticism has two sides. It depends on us how we take it, either positively or negatively. Criticism if taken positively is bliss for learners.
Like someone says to an actor that his dialogues are perfect but expressions are missing. So now he knows where he needs to improve to give a heartthrob performance.

You cannot solve a problem with the same mindset that created it. To solve a problem you need a different mindset.
Another problem is when people criticize you because of your open mindset or being too bold or because of your dressing sense. In this case, you have to understand you cannot make everyone happy. People need something to discuss and this time, it is you.
According to me, in this situation, just feel like a superstar about whom everyone loves to talk, yeah it seems funny but true. Just avoid them by diverting your mind to something important.
Positivity is another name of your changed optimistic attitude towards life.
- Learn something new:
Learn something new daily. It is the best way to add something new to your personality daily.
When you learn something new, it gives you a sense of achievement which implies one more step towards the positive aspect of life. It can be related to learning new techniques related to your job, your personality.

Every single day waits to embrace your talent and the spark that is hidden inside you. With a positive attitude, you can achieve anything.

People generally don’t appreciate what comes with ease. What you want in life work hard for it or you won’t taste the success.
- Get rid of over thinking:
Overthinking hampers the growth of positive thinking to a great extent. Overthinking is like beating around the bush. To get rid of overthinking analyze your thoughts. Put a check on them, are they worth to spend so much time on them.
These repetitive thoughts make a viscous chain in your mind and block the path of your progress. You shouldn’t require affirmations of others in your life until your boss asked you something related to your job. As such, no one is going to pay your debts neither your overthinking.
Therefore, stop overthinking. It pays you nothing other than negativity.
You can’t get rid of this habit overnight, I am saying this from personal experience. Gradually practicing check on your thoughts only works and brings you peace of mind and positivity.
At its worst, overthinking can even lead to a shorter life as concluded by a study conducted at Harvard Medical School.
- Guilt – Leave your past behind:
We can’t undo something that has happened in the past. Living with guilt starts lowering your self-esteem and hampers the procedure of Self-Love. The only thing you can do is not repeat which is totally in your control. So just let go, learn to forgive yourself.
Leave your past behind or past will leave you behind.
Any hindrance in self-love is again leading you to stress and negativity. That’s why self-love is important?.
To overcome the feeling of guilt you can help others wherever possible by connecting to some NGOs. You can do some charities if possible if your pocket allows.

Realizing your mistake is the biggest repent anyone can do. Helping others in any mode brings a positive attitude to you.
